Workshop: Life Strategies (1Q 2012)

DESCRIPTION
A 6 session workshop for improving your quality of life. Learn how to create a life strategy that will help you identify and reverse negative thinking, manage your levels of stress, stop feeling overwhelmed, find balance in your life, use planning as tool to help you move forward. The complete workshop is recommended; however, sessions may be taken individually.

Session 1: 3/6/12
Introduction
Mindful Thinking — Identify and reverse negative thinking and learn the QoLC Rules of Engagement.

Session 2: 3/13/12
Stress Management — Understand the impact of stress and how to manage it better

Session 3: 3/20/12
Baby-Stepping — Defeat feeling overwhelmed by learning to take small steps towards your goals
Planning — Learn about the importance of planning in order to achieve your goals

Session 4: 3/27/12
Balance — Understand the importance of balance. Review 13 important areas you may be neglecting.

Session 5: 4/3/12
Life Assessment — Do a thorough assessment of your life to identify areas that are negatively impacting you.

Session 6: 4/10/12
Goal Setting — Set short-term and long-term goals with corresponding action plans.

HOW IT WORKS
The workshop is conducted via computer or phone. A handout and weekly homework is assigned for self study. Email support provided.
