The Hazards of Watching TV (Part 2)

Read Part 1

So after a week on the "No TV for 2 weeks Challenge", I learned a few important lessons.  First, I'm much more focused and productive with the television is off. But, most important, not watching television enabled me to spend more quality time with my 7-year old, especially over the weekend.  Here's what we did instead:

  1. Walked in the park.
  2. Played board games.
  3. Read a few stories.
  4. Learned about "Traffic Light Eating"
  5. Made a collage.
  6. Did house work together.
  7. Constructed with Legos.
  8. Took photographs.
  9. Made videos.
  10. Listened to music
