- 1 lb. dates, pitted
- 2 cups. unsalted nuts and/or seeds
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl or food processor. May leave a handful of nuts & seeds aside to remain whole, if desired.
- Mash or process to desired chunkiness, add whole nuts and mix well.
- Place mixture in a shallow plan covered with parchment paper.
- Use fingers or spatula to flatten.
- Remove flattened mixture from pan and cut into bars.
- To store, wrap each bar in parchment and place in the refrigerator.
