  • Thu 6/5/14 6-8pm | TokoNoMMA tokonomaa-openingAn installation based on the concept of the “tokonoma,” the focal point of the Japanese home in which a simple but beautiful object is being placed for contemplation. Interpreting the format of the scroll, the artists explored various meanings of “home” in Washington Heights/Inwood through photography, painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media.
